NOTE: This access method does not allow people in to your computer without permission each time it is used.
- Open the Chrome Browser
- Go to: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-remote-desktop/inomeogfingihgjfjlpeplalcfajhgai?utm_source=ext_sidebar&hl=en-US
- Click the “Add to Chrome” button.
- Once it is installed, open the Extensions browser. It looks like a puzzle piece.
- The Remote Desktop icon looks like this:
- If you want to keep it visible at all times, click the pin next to the icon.
- On the left, click “Remote Support” so you see this screen
- Click the blue “+ Generate Code” button and give this to the person who is helping you.
- Once they use the code to request access your system, you will be prompted to let them in to access your computer.
