How to find the Auto Update Expiration (AUE) date for a Chromebook
The AUE is a date that refers to when a Chromebook will no longer receive operating system updates.
After that date, the device may no longer be useful for instruction (e.g. devices that are substantially past their AUE date may be unable to be used for MAP testing).
