What To Bring To School

ITEMS FOR STUDENTS TO BRING TO Harrisburg Adventist School
 
All students in grades Pre K- 8 should bring:
  • 2 containers of Clorox/Lysol wipes*
  • Clear water bottle with name on it
  • 1 pack of 3x5 note cards
  • Pencil box – large enough for crayons, glue, etc.
  • 4+ glue sticks *
  • Crayons (24-count)*           
  • 1 pump hand sanitizer
 
Students in Pre K and Kindergarten should also bring:
  • 1 small blanket for rest, NO SLEEPING BAGS! A SMALL pillow is allowed
  • Complete set/change of clothes (can store in a gallon Ziploc bag with name written on)
  • 2 Packs of Play-Doh & 3 Crayola Watercolor paint Set*
  • Large t-shirt for Art
  • 6 thin black Expo dry erase markers*
 
All students in grades 1 - 8 should bring:
  • Colored Pencils & Markers – Dozen or less**
  • 3, 2-pocket folders – no prongs – solid colors only, bottom pockets only, no side pockets.*
  • 2 - LARGE erasers **
  • 1+ boxes of pencils **
  • Ruler
 
Students in grades 1-2 should also bring:
  • 2 pack/notebook of beginner large-lined writing paper**
  • 2 oversized book covers
  • 1 Composition Book
 
Student in grades 3-4 should also bring:
  • 2 book covers
  • 3 packs of wide-ruled composition notebook paper**
  • A 3-ring binder notebook (1/2 – 1 inch)
  • 1 Composition Book
  • 1 set of multiplication flash cards (1-12)
 
Students in grades 5-8 should also bring:
  • One pack of red pens for correcting
  • Protractor, compass, scissors
  • 4 book covers (oversized)
  • 4 one subject notebooks
  • Assignment book (or can purchase one at Back to school night for $3.50)
 
 
ITEMS THAT STUDENTS SHOULD NOT BRING TO SCHOOL
· Pencil sharpeners, rubber bands
· Games, Toys, Cards, Electronic Devices, Knives-even for cutting food
· Meat or food items that contain meat, and caffeinated drinks.
